『聽其言必觀其行，是取人之道』。

『師其言不問其行，乃取善之方』。

賞析：

一個人言行一致，是正人君子，若言行不一，則屬言而無信。所謂『力行勝於空言』- An ounce of practice is worth a pound of theory.  或Actions speak louder than words. 在國外很多人尊重言而有信者(a man of his word). 若言行一致必屬良才，用之無悔，且必成大業。

既確定是言行一致之人，所謂『言忠信，行篤敬』，自可師法其言，亦可作模仿之對象，此乃求善之良方也。

《英譯》：

The best way to pick out a good person is to listen to what he/she says, and then inspect or examine what he/she will do.

The best way to adapt a good method of doing good to others is simply for us to follow their instructions without having to examine their  behavior.

《日譯》 ：

良い人を選ぶ最も良い方法は、彼/彼女が何を言うか聞いて、彼/彼女が何をするかを点検したり調べたりすることです。

良い方法を他の人に善事させる最良の方法は、彼らの行動を調べることなく、彼らの指示に従うだけです。
