Loser: Taylor Swift (2008)
Country-pop princess Taylor Swift's music video for her single "Teardrops on my Guitar" was nominated in 2008 but did not win her the Best New Artist title. That single alone went on to go double-platinum, and Swift has since won seven Grammy awards and sold more than 26 million albums worldwide.
